I had my first week at economics east, here we talked about the outline of what we would be doing over the year and had a look at previous years work. It was quite impressive to see work that students had done being published in a magazine. I look forward to continue econ east, complimenting my HL Economics subject choice.
Rock climbing
I also had my first lesson of rock climbing, I was looking forward to climb and during this first day, as we were just beginners, we practiced climbing without a harness at lower levels. I still found this quite enjoyable, we also each had to spot a person climbing to help them if they fell. I enjoyed rock climbing quite a lot and am looking forward to continuing it.
Service
My first week of service was also good, we paired up and it was decided that each week one pair would be in change of presenting the lesson in our service. My partner and I had the idea of using kinetic sand, we hopefully will be able to use this in the coming weeks of our service.
